Skarn Property

The Skarn property adjoins the Amazing Grace to the northeast.  Gold skarn mineralization occurs within the metasediments.  Values to 9 g/t Au were returned from mineralization exposed in a historic trench on the property.  Samples from a second area of skarn mineralization, 500 meters to the east, returned 1.7 g/t Au with 0.5% Cu.  During a recent work program on the property, a third area of mineralization was discovered a further 300 meters to the northeast.  Sample results from this new discovery are pending.  Mineralization occurs in a similar geological setting at the Second Relief mine, 6 kilometres to the east.  The Second Relief mine is the third largest known gold skarn deposit in British Columbia.  It was mined between 1900 and 1948 and has past production totaling 205,000 tonnes at a grade of 15 g/t Au.
